I'm a technologist and entrepreneur who enjoys building practical products at the intersection of software, creativity, and real-world problems. I grew up in a small town in North Dakota, which shaped how I think about work: be resourceful, don't overcomplicate things, and make sure what you're building actually helps someone. I'm currently based in Dallas, where I continue to build and operate software-driven businesses.

I believe in building practical tools that solve real problems. My approach is shaped by my small-town roots: keep it simple, make it useful, and focus on what matters.

Over the past decade, I've worked across engineering, product, and operations, often in early-stage or owner-operated companies. I've founded and helped grow several SaaS platforms and service businesses, including MemoryShare , a platform that helps families stay connected through live-streamed and recorded memorial services, The Agent Nest , a social media tool built specifically for real estate professionals, and The Match Artist , a photography company that helped formalize the online dating photography space. Across all of them, my role has been hands-on, spanning product design, engineering, infrastructure, and day-to-day decision making.

My technical background is full-stack, with a focus on building systems that are reliable, understandable, and cost-conscious. I work primarily with C#/.NET, JavaScript and TypeScript (including Vue 3), and modern cloud infrastructure, and I've spent a lot of time working with video, streaming workflows, and analytics-heavy systems. I'm comfortable moving between writing code and thinking about how a product should actually be used in the real world.

What motivates me most is building things that last and that people can depend on. I'm less interested in hype and more interested in steady progress, clear thinking, and creating tools that quietly do their job well. Whether that's supporting families during meaningful moments or helping small teams compete with better software, I care about work that's thoughtful, durable, and genuinely useful.
